By twilight, and with theatrical flair, Spectre Ghost Walking Tour haunts the dreaming spires of Oxford by night. This theatrical experience combines comedy, history, and spine-tingling storytelling with special effects and a dash of the unexpected.

As a Spectre Guide, you’ll lead curious guests through Oxford’s cobbled streets and shadowy corners, unearthing tales of the morbid and mysterious stories of the city’s most infamous characters—scholars, murderers, and martyrs. All delivered in costume, and with a wicked sense of humour.

Using a mix of dramatic storytelling, historical knowledge, magic tricks and comic timing, you will host and perform the tour with your own creative flair. We are looking for people who love to be centre stage—bags of personality are a must. This is a unique opportunity to join a character-led team and bring ghostly tales to life while delivering an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.

We’re looking for spirited team members with:

Contract: 4 hours a week

Hours: Evening shifts only. Saturday or Friday Nights are mandatory.
Salary: £12.60 per hour
Location: Oxford City Centre
