DIG! February Half Term

Get ready to DIG! this February Half Term!

Grab your trowels and get ready to uncover real history at Oxford Castle & Prison this February half-term in our special event for young budding archeologists.

Kids will love digging for archeological finds, making a replica  mosaic tile, and learning about genuine items found on the Castle site; all under the tutelage of Daniel Harris, the 18th governor of the Castle & Prison.

Spaces are limited, so Book Dig! Now.

Recommended for ages 5-11 years.

Tickets £14 per child.*

*Accompanying adults are free. Ticket covers entry to the event only.

You do not need to book general admission tickets to take part in this event, but if you would like to join a tour to see the rest of the castle and prison, tickets can be booked here. Please note that due to steep steps and one-way access, children under 5 are unable to climb St George’s tower.
