International Women’s Day – Charity Evening

Join us to celebrate the revolutionary women of Oxford Castle & Prison and raise money for charity.

Date: Saturday 7th March 2020
Time: 2 performances – 7pm (SOLD OUT) & 8.30pm
Price: £5 donation to Oxfordshire Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre
Age: 16+ due to adult themes

We will be performing a series of monologues written from the perspectives of Oxford Castle’s unsung heroines, from the Empress Matilda to the Ascott Martyrs, from Elizabeth Lilburn to Felicia Skene. Whether you are a history buff or someone with a passion for women’s rights, come along and enjoy an evening of theatre and feminism!

This is an interactive theatrical event, you will be guided room to room, cell to cell and “meet” the empowering women of our history. All proceeds will be donated to the Oxfordshire Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre.

This evening is being held to raise money for the Oxfordshire Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre, a feminist organisation committed to supporting survivors of sexual abuse, rape, domestic violence and harassment. Please see their website – www.osarcc.org.uk – for more details on their work. There will be a chance to donate more towards their cause at the end of the event – they are trying to raise £40k for their 40th Anniversary.

Please use the booking tool below to make your £5 donation and to secure your space on the tour.
