Tomahawk Theatre presents ‘Macbeth’ as part of The Oxford Shakespeare Festival 2019.

Date: 1st July – 27th July

Time: 7.30pm start

Price: £16.50 Adult, £14.00 Concession (student and senior)

Tomahawk Theatre returns to the Oxford Castle and Prison for the 10th year to tell Shakespeare’s tale of witchcraft, ambition, power, loyalty and betrayal!

Set against the magnificent backrop of Oxford Castle & Prison, Macbeth will be a dynamic, action packed 2 hour long play, plus interval.

It will feature battle scenes, music and dance while always remaining faithful to the great story and beautiful language of Shakespeare.

In case of an outdoor performance being abandoned or cancelled due to bad weather, the performance will move to the New Baptist Church on Bonn Square. This is a 5-minute walk from the castle towards the city centre, a pleasant space which Creation Theatre has used in the past for Shakespeare. Members of our company will escort ticket holders from the box office and café at the Castle. You are welcome to make your own way to the Church if you prefer.
