Does my ticket for Knight School include the general admission guided tour?

No, these tickets are for this event only. To book onto the Guided Tour you will need to purchase these tickets separately.

Do I need to supervise my child for Knight School?

Yes, we ask that all children are accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the session.

Where does Knight School take place?

Knight School will take place in the Castleyard outside Oxford Castle & Prison.

On your arrival, please make your way to check in at the Gift Shop where you will be collected for Knight School.

Are the weapons in Knight School safe?

All weapons used are safe and child-friendly.

Is there an age limit for Knight School?

Knight School is designed for children aged between 5 and 10 years old. Older or slightly younger children are welcome to attend if you feel they’ll be able to manage the programme.

Parents and guardians are asked to attend and watch their children whilst they have fun and learn these new fighting skills.

Is there car parking?

No parking is available on site.

We recommend using one of 5 Oxford Park and Rides which have frequent bus links into the city centre.

Car parks can be found at Oxpens, Worcester Street, Gloucester Green and Westgate Shopping Centre. All are a short walking distance from Oxford Castle.

What happens if it's raining?

In the event that we have to cancel Knight School due to poor weather conditions, we will move your booking to an alternative date.
