For over a thousand years, Oxford Castle & Prison has stood watch over the city of Oxford. Join our costumed tour guide as they take you through 1000 years of Oxford’s history, from Viking raids to the Norman conquest; the birth of education in the city, and its role in crime and punishment.

Tour times are 10:00 – 17:00 and run Monday to Sunday.
Tours run every 30 mins to 15 mins at peak times
