Bring history to life with an unforgettable educational visit to Oxford Castle and Prison

 - a site that spans almost 1,000 years of fascinating and often dramatic history.

From its origins as a Norman stronghold built in 1071 to its later role as a county prison, the Castle offers a unique cross-curricular learning environment combining engaging guided tours with interactive, cross-curricular workshops, designed to make history tangible and memorable - all within the very walls where history happened.
