Oxford rail station has regular links to London (60 minutes) and all major UK cities. For information and timetables visit National Rail.


Oxford is connected to London, the M25 and the Midlands by the M40, and the Oxford ring road provides direct access to Southampton, Portsmouth and Bristol via the A34. For directions, visit the AA route finder or Google maps.


Regular coach links run daily from central London (100 minutes), Heathrow (80 minutes) and Gatwick (120 minutes) airports. Oxford has five Park & Ride car parks, with frequent bus links into the city centre. The closest Park & Ride are Seacourt and Redbridge, bus rides takes approximately 10 minutes and their frequency is up to 10 minutes. For more information please check the dedicated website. Car parks can be found at Westgate Shopping Centre, Oxpens, Worcester Street and Gloucester Green and are all a short walking distance from Oxford Castle & Prison. Coach parking is available at Redbridge Park and Ride. All long term coach parking has moved from Oxpens to Redbridge due to the Westgate development.
