King of the Castle (KS1)

Step into the shoes of kings, queens and castle folk!

In this hands-on workshop, pupils explore the sights, smells, and the stories of medieval Oxford Castle. With real artefacts, mystery objects, and even a chance to dress up, children discover what life was really inside a castle long ago.

Please note for Year 1 groups
Any pupils under 5 will need to wait at the bottom of St.George’s tower, accompanied by an adult, as we are unable to allow under 5’s up the tower due to health and safety reasons.
