We often welcome journalists for complimentary entry into Oxford Castle & Prison. Please contact us by emailing dkemp@continuumattractions.com to arrange the date and time of your visit or for any other requests.
Oxford Castle & Prison is an extremely photogenic site, as such we are happy to consider all filming and photography requests which will be looked at on an individual basis.

About Oxford Castle & Prison
Oxford Castle & Prison opened on 2nd June 2006 and gives guests the opportunity to learn about the real people who lived and died there throughout its turbulent 1,000-year history. The site has been used as a place of incarceration since 1071, continuing until the closure of HM Prison Oxford in 1996. The site have been preserved and is now open to the public for Oxford’s dark history to be uncovered.
The guardians of this important historic site, The Oxford Preservation Trust were awarded a £3.8 million grant by the Heritage Lottery Fund to restore the castle and site buildings.
