We recommend arriving 10 minutes before your scheduled time, as Spectre will begin promptly at 18:30 and depart from the Oxford Castle & Prison grounds.

The tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, and it will take you around the city of Oxford.

Children are welcome to join the Spectre Ghost Tour. Whilst the nature of the tour is spooky, it has also been designed to be family-friendly with humour throughout!

Please note that individuals aged 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

The route is accessible to wheelchair and pushchair users, however it is a walking tour with nowhere to sit. It’s also important to note that there are uneven pavements and kerb stones to be negotiated throughout Oxford.

You can purchase tickets directly from our Gift Shop, which is open 10:00-17:30. However, we recommend booking online in advance to secure your space as we have a capacity of 20 people per Spectre Ghost Tour.

The tour will go on whatever the weather! We encourage you to check the weather forecast the night before or on the day of your tour, and to wear comfortable shoes and suitable clothing for the conditions.

If adverse weather conditions or a severe weather warning require the Spectre Ghost Tour to be postponed, we will contact you via email and, if provided, by your mobile number with details of the situation and next steps for rescheduling.
