The Oxford Shakespeare Festival 2023

The Oxford Shakespeare Festival is back for its 13th year! Wild Goose Theatre (previously Tomahawk Theatre), BMH Productions, and Siege Theatre are putting on marvellous performances of Shakespeare’s finest classics. The Oxford Shakespeare Festival is an outdoor theatre experience that takes place on the Castleyard of Oxford Castle & Prison.

Following their highly praised, sell out productions of Twelfth Night, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Much Ado About Nothing, Wild Goose Theatre returns to the magnificent Oxford Castle this summer to revive their critically acclaimed production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

In the event of good weather, extra tickets may be released on the gate on a first-come first-served basis.
